They really weren’t watching or listening. They were too busy complaining, and trying dampen the event etc.. It was the usual cast.

Btw, I was never into Conventions when it came to politics. I always saw it as a formality. But I thought this was pretty good. Not the old school boiler plate, canned monotone speeches.

My family thoroughly enjoyed tonight’s speeches and celebration! Gave us the chance to teach a 7 and 5 year old what the election of a President is about. The 5 year old saw the ballons and thought it was going to be a dance party! 😝😍

Well, call me nuts, but I thought Trump’s speech was brilliant, a tour-de-force. To have president that can masterfully handle that many subjects with wit, humor and poignance . The difference with the current president (and vice president) is beyond striking. No one can criticize anything he said - or how he said it. Too long? Who cares - he was in full command of every word, every subject, every sentiment , every nuance from the first word to the last.

It was sheer brilliance from beginning to end and something no Democrat can do…regardless of who they throw up as a sacrificial figure head in this election.
