The U.S. Secret Service said Wednesday that it stood by its female agents and was appalled by some of the criticism they’ve received on conservative social media since Saturday’s attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
The Secret Service, in a statement to NBC News, said that the criticism from pundits and influencers was baseless. The agency also stood by its commitment to diversity in recruiting as helping, not hurting, the effectiveness of its protective teams.
The statement follows a multiday campaign of derision by some conservatives who accused Kimberly Cheatle, the Secret Service director, of being unqualified and who said that female agents assigned to Trump hadn’t been physically capable of protecting him. Some critics said the Secret Service should return to being all-male, which it hasn’t been since 1970.

I’m confused when I heard Eric Trump being interviewed yesterday he defended the SS that was up on the stage that got on top of Trump. I’m assuming that included the short woman in the front. He made the claim that he knew them personally and was friends with some of them. Why would he be OK with the woman being too short to take a bullet for the president? Also wasn’t the woman in the front of Trump one of the three clueless women in front of the limo Trump got in?
And we Americans are appalled by all the fjb dei hires throughout the federal government!

No, assassinated means dead, and President Trump is not dead, so obviously assassinated is not the right description.

I don't know, the whole thing seemed to go as planed. The only thing that went amuck was the shooter. They chose a young soy boy, a kid who couldn't hit the barn, even if he was inside of it. Maybe he practiced for a couple of months on how to use the weapon, but that's about it. But just 140yds.! It's hard to find an excuse for that...

These female agents reminded me of the Munchkin scene in the Wizard of Oz.
but for luck he was dead. They failed to keep him alive. The shooter was there, the shot was taken and through no action on the SS part he moved his head and lived. That is a successful assassination whether it went to plan or not.

The quirky Joe and Jill Biden selection, Kimberly Cheatle. said she decided not to guard the roof from which Crooks opened fire on President Trump because it was “too slanted” and “there’s a safety factor about putting an agent up on a sloped roof,” she told ABC News in a startling admission.
So a “sloped roof” was a problem b/c a S/S agent might get hurt,
but the nitwit figured it was alright for Trump to get shot in the head.
That just ain’t so. It was supposed to be an assassination. It failed. It did not turn out to be an assassination.

Sorry, but the shot was on target. Trumps head would have exploded had he not have moved the very instant the shooter pulled the trigger.
It is quite common for Democrats with nothing on their homepage to ignore the point of a statement and try to argue about the meaning of one word or spelling or sentence structure.
