What if, say, she's a creature of the bureaucratic blob, but not a diehard ideological one. And she has found clear evidence of a conspiracy among a cell of SS members that was coordinating the assassination attempt. She can't go to Biden not knowing how far the conspiracy may go among Democratic officials. So she is going to Trump and the R congresspeople to get the truth out.
