Republican senators confronted Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday over the attempted assassination of former President Trump on Saturday, telling her that they owe the people and the president "answers."
Video shows Sens. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and John Barrasso, R-Wyo., confronting Cheatle in Milwaukee. Sens. James Lankford, R-Okla., and Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., were also involved.
"Stonewalling," Barrasso can be heard yelling at Cheatle as she moves through the convention center.
"This was an assassination attempt, you owe the people answers, you owe President Trump answers," Blackburn said.
In a separate longer video, the senators can be seen questioning Cheatle. In response to their questions, she says that it isn't an appropriate place to have the discussion, but says she is happy to answer questions, before leaving the suite. It is at that point she is yelled at by the lawmakers.

I think she resigns within a week. This is one of the most outrages events I’ve ever witnessed.
What if, say, she's a creature of the bureaucratic blob, but not a diehard ideological one. And she has found clear evidence of a conspiracy among a cell of SS members that was coordinating the assassination attempt. She can't go to Biden not knowing how far the conspiracy may go among Democratic officials. So she is going to Trump and the R congresspeople to get the truth out. After that the administration can't shut her down.

Yes, but I don’t see how demanding answers from Cheatle is a bad thing. That “bipartisan border bill” was a dumb move by Lankford.

Is it still considered true fact that the agent who fired a kill shot at Crooks lost his job? I am not sure if that was ever verified?
But if so, who fired him? What were they going to do, see how many more shots the Crooks kid would take before running out of ammo?
By the way, anyone else see an irony in the name Crooks? We have long felt that the Bidens were a bunch of crooks.
