The attendees of the Republican National Convention were blessed with an appearance by 98-year-old World War II veteran, William 'Bill' Pekrul, a man who knows first-hand what it's like to fight Nazis. There were looks of awe, shows of respect, and a few tears as Pekrul described his service, the country he loves, and his desire that Trump return to the White House.

People like Sgt. Pekrul and those who cheered him this evening are the same people Democrats call Nazis.

As striking as Pekrul's record of service is, also impressive is his path following the war. He fathered eleven children and has spent 98 years living as Americans do across our great nation.

Perhaps the biggest applause for Bill Pekrul came when he said America is still worth fighting for and he would re-enlist today if President Trump were once again Commander-In-Chief.
Apparently, there's 'Joe Biden old' and 'Bill Pekrul old'. We'll take the Bill Pekrul version. Pekrul did an awesome jo.b, and many couldn't help but notice how much more in command of his words he is at 98 than Joe Biden often is at 81.

What a way for a WWII vet to finish, as a young man he was in the great war to save the world and at age 98 he is speaking at a patriotic presidential convention, he has to be feeling like he has lived a full life.

I allowed Stephen Colbert of no fixed address (NYC) to speak from my TV set tonight, usually I turn off the set within five seconds of his intro. I wanted to see what he was saying in the aftermath of the failed assassination.
After covering some of what this veteran we’re discussing had to say about “no more Nazis at end of WW-II”, Colbert basically implied that Nazis were now back.
In other words, he called you as a Trump supporter a Nazi.
If Stephen Colbert had a son (perhaps he does, don’t know), he would be Crooks. In fact, there is a slight resemblance.
I don’t know, if this stupid Nazi accusation cannot die in the current atmosphere of very slight reconciliation, then it will never die. Problem is, besides being ridiculous, it covers over the far more accurate charge that many progressives are communists by nature.
If there ever is a hot civil war in America, you need look no further than Stephen Colbert to find one of its leading causes, a constant drumbeat for his fans (lefties) to dehumanize the conservative side of politics and to spread ridiculous and meaningless slander against you. What does he hate the most? That you love your country.
A very small man, the entertainment industry’s version of Obama, holding a very high opinion of himself unwarranted by any actual achievements. And a spreader of hate.
I just heard on Fox&FriendsFirst that he has 2 bronze stars and 1 silver star.
By the grace of God, Pekrul returned home and led a full life. So many of his fellow soldiers never returned home.
Another fantastic night. I’m glad the Gold Star families got their due for their children.
Came back from the war and got busy!
We now know what he liked to do in his spare time.
