Why did they think he would use that gun against Trump?
I don’t know how specific they were to LE, but just saying he was missing and they were “worried” with the rally going on means someone didn’t ‘connect the dots”.

Very important detail.
A lot of reports coming out with stories made to look like they’re covering for the parents. Not sure this is going to stop the families of those spectators who were killed or injured from suing the parents.
so there has to be a deeper backstory if they raised this alarm...
Another poster said Jesse Waters broke this last night that the Dad called 911 after he heard Trump was shot. I’m guessing the Dad let the kid take gun to shooting range which should take just an hour or so, the kid didn’t return home, he drove an hour north and then was at the rally site for over 3 hours before the shooting. So he was gone from home probably 5 hours and then they heard Trump was shot and called police saying they couldn’t find their son.
Sure they did. The FBI had already raided the house and sat them down and told them what to tell the media today! You remember these are hard-core DTS democrats.
Maybe the child heard his parents saying bad things about DJT and he wanted to please them?

Could be. How many parents call the police when their adult child is missing for a few hours? This seems suspicious, not like they were involved, but like they knew something was going down. Maybe they had heard Crook make threatening statements concerning the rally. And maybe it was unusual for the rifle (and pistol?) to be missing.
Definitely raises more questions. Did their son leave a cryptic note or text some ominous message?
But this news anchor said “leading up to the shooting”
I am very happy that social media outlets are not be censored to the degree they were in 2020.
That said, you must FILTER.
I take this post with the proverbial grain of salt.
This guy looks to be pretty much ‘him’. He seems to have a problem with Republicans.
Could be a clue.
So much pain and my heart aches for these folks.
