The question we have to ask is, if that’s the best technology we have, and we had a CS team up there with a shooter that, you know, we’re trained out to a thousand yards in the Secret Service with the counter-sniper team. How did they miss someone at most, you know, one-fifth of the way there? It doesn’t make any sense.It makes perfect sense for the counter-sniper team to concentrate on the >500yd approaches, if the plan was that some other team was tasked with securing the nearby building.
Somebody screwed up. Did some in the local sheriff's department not understand what their responsibilities were?
Did the Secret Service assign them the task of securing the building without making it clear that included controlling access to the roof?
Which years are you talking about going to rallies? This year?
The roof that the counter snipers were deployed on was sloped. And from what I’ve seen of the slope on all of those barn roofs (it’s a fairground) is very mild. I call bull**** on everything the SS has said in their statements.

I’m a 60 year old women/widow. I climb up a ladder to get onto my metal roof...with a steeper slope...at least a dozen times a year to clean out gutters with a leaf blower, or clean the chimney flu. Maybe they should have used 60 year old widowed grannies because they’re not afraid to slip a bit protecting Trump??
I’m 69 and my metal roof is sloped waaay worse than that building. I just repainted it a while back and had no problems...................

Why do I think the FBI is now busy destroying any and all evidence. They are leaving all the manufactured evidence that will soon come to light that it was the lone gunman radical who acted alone and got lucky. The patsy to take the blame.
I think the shooter was spooked by the cop who saw him and began spraying his shots to get rounds on Trump.
One thing every hunter knows is that head-shots on a deer are risky. The slightest movement by the deer and you miss or worse. I learned my lesson the hard way. Doe only exposed her head, I wait she did not move so I took a risky head-shot. She moved her head slightly, and I blew off her lower jaw. I had to walk out and administer a shot to her brain as she writhed in pain. It was horrible, and I have never attempted that shot since.
Cheatle’s excuse that the building’s roof was too steep to put SS agents on it is patently ridiculous!
It is proof positive that she is either too STUPID, or EVIL, to be in charge of the Secret Service.

There are reports now circulating that certain people had heavily invested in DJT$ short positions in the week before the shooting. In other words, betting that the stock price would precipitously drop, once DJT was killed.

1) there's a lot of room between "not good enough for the rifle team" and "is a terrible shot".
2) The target was 130 yards away. NOT a difficult shot.
