Do you agree with Home Depot’s decision to fire this woman for what she said about Trump?

Over the last 8 years, I have lost any interest in being fair to the other side.
Now I just want them hurt. I don't care if i'm a hypocrite, they need to get hurt to balance the field again.
So yes, I'm okay with her getting fired for smarting off about Trump. I don't care about her "free speech". They didn't care about ours, so it's time to dose them with their own medicine.
Force the enemy to live up to his own book of rules.
Yes it would, which is exactly the point.
There is an old joke I like to tell.
Little Johnny comes running out of the dining room to where his mother sat reading a book. "Mommy! Suzy hit me!" He said."Well dear", replied the mom. "She doesn't know that it hurts."
Johnny smiles and then walks back into the dining room. Shortly thereafter mom hears a loud "smack!". Suzy comes running out crying, followed by Johnny who says "Well she does now!"
They won't understand *WHY* it's a bad idea to treat other people this way until it happens to them.
We must make it happen to them.
Fastest way to turn someone against something is to make them feel the pain of it.
What a great post to get comments. Now me, I post things from the US Naval Institue Proceedings and am lucky to get a dozen comments.
Honey, I have been harassed and disparaged for my convictions in at my workplace, and that was by my EMPLOYER.
Of course, my convictions didn’t include murder like this woman’s did.
I refused to attend a “marriage” ceremony for two lesbians in the organization. I didn’t get fired, but I certainly paid over the following years.
If her conviction was to wish someone murdered and she made that public, then she should’ve been prepared for any consequences.
"Tit for tat" is an effective strategy. See "Prisoner's Dilemma".

“I believe in free speech, too. She was completely free to say what she said. She is not, however, free from the consequences of what she said.”
One of the many truths I taught my sons when they were growing up. Another was the old saying that “the Great Father gave us two eyes and two ears but only one mouth” ... IOW listen and observe before offering an opinion.
“The decision to fire her seems reasonable based on her inadvertently becoming an advertisement for the company.”
Ummm...agreed with the rest, but if that (quoted above) is the standard, then any FReeper is subject to recriminations just because someone - in our cases likely a lefty nutjob - decided to post a video of a confrontation at our place of employment.
I don’t find the standard acceptable, nor do I believe that the veteran was right to both confront her “at work” AND post the video of what was blatantly a hitjob (she did not engage). I do - and have stated prior - believe that we must adopt their own tactics, but absent certain conditions this was over the top.
As stated, I might have confronted her, too, but I would NOT have posted the video and the story would end right there...until I doxxed her for her idiotic position.
I believe that she has a civil case, if not a case with the state (depending on the laws where she’s employed)...but I’m not cheering that point (though it sounds hypocritical, I’m satisfied with the result).
Then unless you own your own company or are self-employed you are indeed a serf and will do the bidding of your owner the employer. One can always refuse to ever comment on anything and give up on your right of free speech to placate your owner. And toil without any input other than your vote which for now they do not know for whom you vote—for now.
Oh, you can quit, but your next owner will demand the same control as the previous master. The you can always quit is an illusion that you have the ultimate control. But do you really? If you want to eat and have a roof over your head you will serve your master.
Well, that could be true, if there was no visual of her in the uniform at the time of her comment.
“Mutual Assured Destruction”got us through the Cold War and if the Ukraine had retained their nukes Russia wouldn’t be losing their sons in Putin’s attempt to reform the old USSR!
“Kooks for nukes” is my motto!🤣😂🤣😂
