Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle noted in a July 15 interview with ABC News that police were in the building from the top of which the would-be assassin fired at Donald Trump.
Cheatle told ABC News that the building on which the would-be assassin took his position was supposed to be secured by local law enforcement officers who were working with Secret Service for perimeter control.
ABC News reported “local authorities were tasked with securing the building where the alleged shooter fired the shots before being taken out by a Secret Service sniper.”
Cheatle also indicated that police were inside the building from which the would-be assassin fired at Donald Trump.
She said:
In this particular instance, we did share support for that particular site and that the Secret Service was responsible for the inner perimeter. And then we sought assistance from our local counterparts for the outer perimeter. There was local police in that building — there was local police in the area that were responsible for the outer perimeter of the building.

The snipers on the sloped red barn roof had on slide resistant rubber soled shoes. She could have issued them ropes and harnesses. The shooter didn’t have any concerns with the roof.
The two snipers on the red barn roof had the shooter in their crosshairs for 30 minutes but twiddled their thumbs.
Plausible deniablilty. Accidentally on purpose.
The Republicans can do well in November if they act with urgency on this and get in front of a microphone everyday.
Another matter:
Someone brought to my attention that there was an SS (?) guy standing in front of the suburban used to carry Trump away.. He seemed to be very nervous and was talking into his mike. I’m almost deaf so I tend to read lips quite a bit nowadays. It appeared to me that he was saying, “NO WAY, NO WAY”. After a few seconds he moves forward, raises his rifle and looks to be aiming it right at Trump.! About two seconds later he lowers his rifle and backs away... All of this could be quit innocent and something else entirely. But, that’s not the way it looked.
If you can still find the video that shows the wide angle version of them loading Trump into the suburban he will be the one in green battle dress right in front of the vehicle.
