There were three snipers stationed inside the building the shooter used during Saturday's shooting of former President Donald Trump, a local law enforcement officer with direct knowledge of the incident tells CBS News.
The operations plan had them stationed inside the building looking out windows toward the Trump rally. The information about the three snipers being inside the building was first reported by BeaverCountian.co
One of the snipers inside saw Thomas Matthew Crooks outside and looking up at the roof, observing the building and disappearing, a local law enforcement officer tells CBS News

meanwhile someone’s dad and husband is dead
Some kind of mulch??
The other trees have it, too.
Pretty sure the ladder in the photo was placed there after the incident to give police access to the roof.
The RAAC MKA-1919 is an AR platform semi auto shotgun
Is there an AR-style rifle that also fires shotgun shells?

I don’t think so.
But you CAN get a ‘scary looking’ shotgun...

Ah c’mon man! It was break time and it was hot outside.
One could perch a drone up there for a really good field of view
Against a murmurring crowd?
That’s a 10’ fiberglass ladder. How did he get that on top of a Hyundai Sonata?
Which is 19' above the ground.
The roof has a 1/12 putch.
The building is 70*150.
The heigth change between the eave and the peak is only about 3 feet.
That's mighty hard to hide behind.
Snipers top of gun tripod maybe 3 feet above peak, 450 foot to target .
Pretty flat angle.
We’d need time stamps
Nope. If the democrats love the DEI hires so much let’s them guard the Dems.
On the BACKSIDE of the building there were witnesses?
the witnesses were not at the rally, they were in a different location
The color of the ground in front of those trees is different from the color of the rest of the ground there.

That’s an older brown mulch nothing more. Mulch is commonly used to keep weeds and grasses down.
He did own a van that the Feds dragged off recently.
Oh hell yeah. Metal roofs and the room beneath them are amplifiers.
Secret Service β βWe were not in charge of securing properties surrounding the Trump rally.β
βThis was 100% the responsibility of local police.β

Contrast this with...
Sheriff says building used by shooter “wasn’t our responsibility”
https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/trump-shooting-statement-joe-biden-updates/#post-update-450b2804
and then you have the headline of this thread...
“Three snipers were stationed inside building used in Trump assassination attempt”
I guess the cops could not hear him on top of the building.
Nor did they try and stop him when they noticed him acting suspiciously.
“Assassin was spotted carrying rifle and acting suspiciously near magnetometers. He was not stopped by local police.”
https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/14/politics/secret-service-faces-serious-questions-about-security-footprint-and-rooftop-access-at-trump-event/index.html
and when a cop went up the ladder to check out what was going on the cop turned around and walked away because the assassin pointed his rifle at the cop.
They did know he was up on top of the building 30 minutes before he took the shot.

Which one missed Trump?
