DeRino needs to appoint Vivek to the senate to replace Vance.
He is the most establishment. He came up with the Hollywood crowd, And he was praised by them for bashing, midwesterners and conservatives. He called Trump the American Hitler and said he was a racist. This guy is establishment to his core.
Where are you getting this stuff? Pro-life is not black and white and total bans don’t end abortions anywhere they are legislated. An upper limit would be a good first step.
Vance opposes abortion and he has indicated that he may support a federal ban on abortions after 15 weeks. He has more recently said that abortion laws should be set by the states. When asked whether abortion laws should include exceptions for rape and incest, he said, “two wrongs don’t make a right.”
Vance was among the 31 Senate Republicans who voted against final passage of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023.
“I had hoped we could improve this deal through the amendment process, but the reality is this bill was beyond saving,” Vance said.
“Ohioans have suffered long enough from the inflation caused by the Biden administration’s out of control budget, and this bill simply does nothing to end their spending spree. This is a bad deal for the people of Ohio, which is why I voted against it.”

The most important criterion is being able to carry on the mantle of the MAGA Presidency in an emergency. Nothing matters more than that.

By February 2018, Vance began changing his opinion, saying Trump “is one of the few political leaders in America that recognizes the frustration that exists in large parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania, eastern Kentucky and so forth”.

Was he an msnbc regular while it was convenient? His anti Ukraine play is one of convenience as well. No point crapping on Trump’s pick but I don’t trust him and will remain skeptical.

No, I am not saying that at all. He came out in support of the abortion pill. I’ll try to find the article, it was there the other day but now because he’s been nominated it’s kind of hard to find.
