Vance may appear populist but he’s got an Ivy League, Wall Street law firm, venture capital background. That doesn’t disqualify him but the populism is a bit of an act in my opinion.

It reminds me or Rubio. Remember that when Rubio got elected, he was one of the “Tea Party” Republicans. Now he’s a standard neocon. Nothing Tea Party about him anymore. I suspect Vance will turn out the same way.
