The scandal-plagued Biden campaign has pulled all its ads against former President Donald Trump after he was nearly killed by a shooter on Saturday.
Joe Biden is “pausing all outbound communications and working to pull down our television ads as quickly as possible,” a campaign official told The Wall Street Journal on Sunday morning.
The ads would have likely labeled Trump as an existential threat ahead of the 2024 election.
Biden’s anti-Trump claims have rightfully led critics to question whether this heavily partisan rhetoric has incited violence against Trump.
This rhetoric often conflates Trump with dictators, including Adolf Hitler, and suggests he would end “Democracy” if elected.
Just on Friday, Biden appeared at a campaign rally in Michigan, where he labeled Trump a “threat to this nation.”
Several conservatives quickly called out the past anti-Trump rhetoric that could have fueled violence against the former president.
Cartoonist Scott Adams on Twitter wrote, “The Biden campaign is pausing its ad campaign that was obviously designed to get Trump assassinated. The Fine People Hoax probably just killed one spectator, injured another, and almost ended Trump. This is all on Biden."
Kyle Mann, the Babylon Bee’s editor-in-chief, added, “When you call your political opponent Hitler for 4 years, don’t act surprised when you inspire your followers to try to kill him.”
Outkick founder Clay Travis echoed Mann’s remarks, writing, “I am f**king furious beyond words. F**k every left wing media member who has been calling him Hitler for the past eight years. This is on them. They made this happen.” Travis’s post has reached nearly 5 million views.
Director James Wood wrote, “We were two inches away from a civil war today. It is not a prospect I relish, but one that is to be feared if Democrats don’t stop with their absurd vile Hitler analogies and their assassination glee.”

Comedian and host Dave Smith similar said, “How the f**k can you say he’s literally Hitler and Democracy is on the line but we wish him a speedy recovery and political violence is never acceptable?”

Here’s a slight tangent I’m posting because it’s not newsworthy enough for its own thread, but still interesting.
I was truly shocked by this report of yesterday’s shooting from CBS - not because it was biased, but because it was actually very neutral and fact based. I’m dumbfounded, because it’s so rare. And I’m not trying to give CBS a pass for all their biased coverage over the years, just acknowledging that they played it straight this time. Was that so damn hard< CBS? What have you been waiting for? It’s a sign of our times that honest reporting from a mainstream media outlet has the ability to shock.

My Uncle is a far left Democrat.
Before Trump ever entered the Presidential race, Uncle made a posted something political on his Facebook timeline only about once every 2-3 weeks. But when Trump announced his intention to run for President, Uncle ramped up his political postings to several times a day, every day of the week.
To hear Uncle tell it, all Republicans were Nazis and Trump was Hitler. One of Uncle’s Facebook friends politely took him to task for comparing Trump to Hitler. Uncle went off on the guy, saying he could see the second coming of Hitler in Trump due to his family’s experience with the Nazi holocaust.
How both his grandparents perished at the hands of the Nazis during the Holocaust. How he lost 8 out of 10 Aunts and Uncles to the Holocaust. How his Father, Mother and Sister barely escaped to the United States by the skin of their teeth.
Problem was that it’s all lies. His grandparents (my great grandparents) emigrated to the United States at the turn of the century with their first child (born in Poland in 1901), decades before the rise of Hitler and his Nazis. His Parents (my grandparents) were born in the United States.
The remainder of his Aunts and Uncles were all born in the United States. Same with his Sisters (one of which is my mother). None of them stepped foot into Europe their entire lives, let alone during the holocaust (with the exception of one Uncle, by marriage, who joined the US Army in 1943 and fought through Europe during WWII).

My mother is the same. She is a hopeless liberal who gets all her political views from “The View” and MSNBC. I rarely visit as it is unbearable.
That’s sad. I’m grateful to have a sane family, one that actually put up with me while I was a full blown libtard. Thankfully I had a full recovery, and now look at left wing politics the same way a rabid ex smoker looks at cigarettes.
And a snowball has a better chance in hell than any of them being declared ineligible to be president. Don’t waste your time fantasizing about this.

What is it with the left and Hitler?
Way back in 2013 going through my recently deceased mother’s house. My older brother came across a lapel pin with a NAZI flag on it. Probably from a relative in NAZI occupied Norway. (It was marked “Norge”) on the back.
My brother said “Hey - you’re Republican - you should have this!”
I didn’t say anything. I was just thinking “Cool!” I was always intrigued by it as a child - it was in a nick-nack box with some old German dollar bills and other stuff. As a kid I figured dad had taken them off a dead Kraut. Never mind that he was on a ship in the Pacific and never met the enemy!
Exactly - too little too late. Scumbag Biden and his media goons spent hundreds of millions of dollars building Trump up as the Second Coming of Hitler. The obvious result is that someone tried to kill Trump. Blood is on Biden’s hands.
