You’re spot on regarding those Secret Service agents around Trump. They did exactly what they were trained to do. They acted professionally, and perhaps even heroically.
I will not even fault the female agent in front of Trump. She put herself in the line of fire. It’s not her fault that she was too small to completely cover Trump. It is the fault of the idiot who gave her that assignment.
I suppose it’s like most corrupt and dysfunctional organizations. Folks at the top are fools, and worse. But most folks at the bottom are usually just trying to do the best they can.
I agree, the USSS agents on the ground did what they were trained to do and did it expeditiously. The Suits? incident Command? I have my serious doubts.
.......my daughter is about her size and about the same age and I was thinking watching her doing her “duty” how proud her father must be.
I wish women were not put out on the streets and put in the line of fire like this one but, by golly, she was doing her job while shots were being fired and people were dying and she should be commended not villified.
