They called him an illegitimate president.
They said he was a threat to democracy and had to be stopped.
They unleashed a legion of agents to investigate him, searched his home and broke historic barriers by indicting him.
Then they rigged a trial in a bid to put him in prison.
They called him un-American and worse. Their lawyers and activists fought to keep him off the fall ballots in a dozen blue states as a way — get this — to defend democracy.
They are still trying to bankrupt him and confiscate his businesses.
And now they have shot him.

A defiant 45th President with his fist up & blood on his face is going to make some great campaign material.

They laughed at us when we said they were calling for his assassination.

Dana White said as much and so have others. It is obvious in interviews he had in the '80s and '90s. He's not playing political games or acting a part for the crowd. Trump is exactly what he presents as.
His reaction when he was shot is notable too. No fear, no wincing just grabbed the side of his head and had a sort of wtf? kind of look on his face. Then he recognized the situation almost immediately and dropped.
I think that qualifies as passing a cognitive test. :)

He is the savior of America, the savior of liberty, the savior of the free world and quite literally, the savior of the future of mankind.

President Trump’s reaction reminded me of President Reagan’s reactions when he was shot by Sirhan Sirhan. He was making jokes.

Yes but that was later in the hospital. At the moment he was shot the SS shoved him in The Beast so fast they were lucky they didn’t break his ribs doing it.

you are correct about President Trump realizing what was happening and dropping right down. The media keeps going on about how the SS saved the day by rushing up on stage. Sorry, but i was not impressed. To me it seemed like a very slow response. Trump did what he did on his own.
