Age is not Joey’s problem. His walk, or gait, isn’t due to age. He has something physically or mentally wrong with him. Old people without dementia or Parkinson’s may walk slower but they don’t shuffle.

From what I’ve seen of images of Biden, it looks to me if he had a stroke or suddenly something else a few months ago.

MY FIL is 81 and walks just fine. Still sharpe as a tack.

He moves, talks and responds like at least a diminishing 90 year old, IMO.

You have a good point. Healthy 81 year old people walk and talk normally, have all of their faculties and are able to engage like anyone else.

True that.
I am 82 and because both knees are shot, I waddle a bit and walk with a cane.
My husband is 85 and he moves like a much younger man, even though he has had several health problems in the past including spinal surgery.
He does not shuffle and has never fallen in the 60 years we have been married.
