The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) discovered a command center this week used by Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists within the Gaza City headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
Israel has long insisted that UNRWA supports terrorism in general, and maintains that several UNRWA employees participated directly in the October 7 terror attack. Terrorists have repeatedly used UNRWA facilities to launch attacks and store weapons.
The IDF said in a statement:
Following intelligence indicating that Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists and infrastructure were embedded inside the UNRWA Headquarters in Gaza City, IDF troops began a counterterrorism operation in the area earlier this week. At the start of the operation, the IDF opened a defined corridor to enable civilians to evacuate from the area.
During the operation, the Commando Brigade Combat Team under the command of the 99th Division conducted a targeted raid on a Hamas combat complex embedded inside a compound previously used by UNRWA. With the guidance of the Intelligence Directorate (J2), Maglan and Egoz special forces raided the compound and apprehended terrorists who tried to escape from the area.

Israel should launch Linebacker III! Brought Vietnam back to the negotiations. I believe Israel needs to blow every tunnel which will help turn Gaza into a waste land. Then flood the area with troops and only turn over control of Gaza if UNRWA is banned from Gaza. It will take billions and decades to rebuild Gaza now, finish leveling areas and blow all the tunnels to hell. That will make entire areas within cities /Camps unlivable until a massive rebuild is undertaken. Force them to spend billions and decades rebuilding. Israel needs to ban all Gazan’s from working in Israel and drastically cut the number of West Bank Palestinians allowed to work in Israel.

United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is a UN organization set up to help the ‘Palestinians’. Why would anyone be surprised that they are actively helping Hamas, Islamic Jihad, et. al.?
Go to a local welfare office and most, if not all, the workers there are sympathetic to the condition of welfare recipients. I’m sure most turn a blind eye on people who cheat or game the system.
Planned Parenthood workers actively resist any actions that might impair the work of the cause, including violations of the law.
Democrat election officials turn a blind eye to potential cheating in an election if it helps democrats and object ferociously at any attempt to investigate it.
No one who works for UNRWA is ignorant of what the Palis are up to and are cheering them on. They are hardly neutral, otherwise why join UNRWA?
