The nonpartisan group Cook Political Report (CPR) shifted the Michigan Senate race to a “toss up” on Thursday as issues with President Biden continue to affect Democrats in races elsewhere.
“If there was one race that was looking like a stronger opportunity for Republicans even before the CNN debate and looks even more in play now, it is Michigan,” CPR’s Senate and Governors editor Jessica Taylor said in an analysis.
CPR said [the current House Democrat], ... likely the Democratic nominee following the Aug. 5 primary, has held a lead. Still, that lead is narrower than races in other states that CPR has left in the “Lean Democrat” column.

Former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) enjoys the endorsement of former President Trump, but CPR said he has “never run in the Trump era of the GOP” since retiring in 2014.
“The tightening presidential contest in the Wolverine State and the potential for a drop in base Democratic turnout could have a unique impact on the Senate race,” CPR said.
Michigan is the only state where ... a Democrat[ ] is running behind Biden, CPR said, citing RealClearPolitics averages. That is, likely because she is not universally known by Michiganders.
“Democrats say their polling still has [their candidate] running better than Biden, but there’s no denying it’s very close,” Taylor wrote in the analysis. “As such, we are shifting the open Michigan Senate race from Lean Democrat to Toss Up.”

The ballot harvesting crews in Michigan used plain, white vans with black windows and went into ballot counting centers at night and put up newspapers and brown paper tapes over all windows.
This was said to secure the hidden identities of voters in order to honor democracy’s secret ballot, so no one could peer through the windows to read names.
Vote totals changed drastically after 2 a.m. to favor Biden over Trump.
Some City of Detroit registered zero votes for Trump, not just “not very many” or “a few”——zero. And some had more votes case than people living there.
My MIL just asked who to vote for. I told her O’Donnell. She believes in medical freedom and liberty.

The Democrats stole the last two Michigan US Senate “elections” [2018 and 2020] - and the Michigan Republicans let them.
Total BS - The GOP in Michigan will find a way to lose. Don’t forget that the Witch locked the State Down for two years and still was easily re-elected. The same GOP was supposed to knock out worthless Gary Peters - failure again.
FJB needs to make an ad endorsing the dem candidate and the Michigan dems need to run it on TV, radio and the Internet nonstop.
