President Biden is slated to hold a press conference Thursday evening at the NATO summit in Washington, D.C.
The high-stakes moment comes as Biden faces mounting calls from fellow Democrats to step aside in the presidential race and amid scrutiny from the news media over his past health disclosures.
The rare solo press conference from Biden will close out the NATO summit, where the president has hosted world leaders this week. Biden’s standing in the presidential race against former President Trump has largely overshadowed this week’s summit.
The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. EDT.
I don’t think they’d do that at a NATO press conference.

Is this press conference going to be held in the same location where Biden just spoke in front of all those NATO leaders all about supporting Ukraine, before introducing Zelensky as President Putin? I only found that through a link from a FreeRepublic thread that took me to the White House website.

House Democratic leadership has indicated to members that they should speak their minds, multiple sources told CBS News. One of those well-placed sources predicted that the next three to four days will be “brutal,” and that it may become untenable by sometime next week.

This type of arrangement is not going to save his skin. Expect the Democrats to go ballistic and demand him step down tonight. The first site I went to just had a blue screen with Biden’s picture on it. So then I went to abcnews.go.com. Supposedly they’ll show the press conference when it happens. They’re just talking about it so far. I guess I’ll just catch what the internet says about it.
