And weren't Lawrence Welk and Doug Burgum grade school classmates?
Just say NO to Burgum. Totally the wrong vibe for this day and age. He looks like he belongs at the country club Thursday "businessman's luncheon" for local chamber of commerce members. The only thing Burghum adds is "meh".
I'm not a fan of J.D. Vance, but Vance has some bona fides that are hard to argue against. And more voters can relate to Vance than to Burgum. Vance pulled himself up to success by his own bootstraps breaking free of a crackhead hillbilly family.
Apparently Trump thinks Burgum is too pro-life.
Youngkin is one who might help the ticket, if he could swing Virginia into the Republican column. But voters will mostly be voting for who is at the head of the ticket.
My line is Ukraine. If any candidate is all in on more stupid wars, I’m out. Rubio still thinks bombing Libya was a good idea, unreal, he’s a for sure no-go. Not as up to speed on this guy
How could anyone possibly Lawrence Welk and Burgum were close to the same age. Burgum didn’t even get out of college until Welk’s career was pretty much over. Who came up with this theory? The same guy who said Ted Cruz was the Zodiac Killer and assassinated JFK?
Illogical. Illogical. All units relate. All units. Norman, coordinate.
Lawrence Welk was born in 1903 and Doug Burgum was born in 1956, yet you suggest, and ask for confirmation, that they were school classmates. 53 years apart in age means they could not be classmates, "illogical, illogical, Norman coordinate."
“Just say NO to Burgum. Totally the wrong vibe for this day and age.”
Purely subjective, but the few times I’ve seen/heard him, he immediately grated on every nerve I’ve got. Looks, vocal style/delivery, etc...as you said, totally the wrong vibe. Comes across as a smarmy tool.
