It needs to be at least £100 Million for the damage she’s done.

They wanted to smear Trump so bad...

That’s all there was to this.

Now, suffer the consequences. I hope Smirky McSmirkface has to pay it out of her own pocket.

That's a stretch given their current reputations.

"If found liable, NBCUniversal could face substantial financial penalties and tarnish the reputations of its top anchors.

Too late

According to court documents, key decision makers at NBC, including Chris Scholl, questioned the veracity of the whistleblower’s claims.

Scholl pointed out the lack of evidence and described the accusations before ultimately approving the articles and broadcasts.

Scholl’s internal communications showed skepticism, as he stated, “We don’t know the truth.”

Maddow and Hayes also expressed their doubts during internal discussions, questioning the whistleblower‘s credibility.

But despite concerns, the network ran with the story,

and why did they do that? They thought this would pass the buck to someone else? Hide in the system?

Did they learn a lesson?

Who did make the decision?

Imagine the size of the payout if MSNBC was held responsible for their “Russiagate” reporting. They’d never recover.

It's not the evidence, it's the seriousness of the charge that counts. All the way up to 30 million.

I doubt if any real damage was done to Rachel's reputation, though. When everyone around you is playing in the same sewer, nobody notices the smell.

story “MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow could cost”

later in story “filing a $30 million defamation lawsuit”

to cost

then

“could” cost

and then

someone filed a lawsuit

Why do people on here continually post articles with false, lying headlines?
Isn’t it quite ironic that a mag posts an articlw with a false headline about false claims.
