I have been active in the prolife movement for 30 years, and have yet to find the contribution of “evangelicals” to be useful. The old saying, “the perfect is the enemy of the good” has held sway time and time again. These people have deep personal problems that cause them to masquerade as seekers of the good; but the tell is, that their efforts blow up in their faces and make things worse. The Holy Spirit doesn’t work that way. But another spirit does.Evangelicals have been the ones leading this fight.

“evangelicals have been the ones leading this fight” is true BUT they are also the most responsible party for the republicans always snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory. sad...but true. no matter what anyone believe in, you can’t IMPOSE it on those who see things differently than you do. “Your mind is free to choose what you believe but your hand isn’t free to impose it on me” applies.

“Evangelicals have been the ones leading this fight.”
Evangelicals were late arrivals to the fight. The Catholics have long led the fight.
