Are you thinking there was no deal between her and trump, or are you saying it was not necessary for trump to win (which is true)?

Trump has won the nomination and he did not need to bargain for Nimrata’s pathetic number of delegates. Nimrata’s paltry 97 delegates is less than 5% of President Trump’s total.

************

Trump dominated the Republican midget candidates in the Republican primary contests. Trump is starting to dominate Biden in the General Election.

Trump just keeps being Trump, much to the chagrin of his naysayers.

I believe it is common practice at uncontested conventions with a clear winner, for the also-rans to release their delegates in order to give the nominee a unanimous victory. I wouldn’t read too much into this.

Yes in a perfect world she should have bailed earlier but the reality was the legal situations with Trump did appear more significant than they so far have amounted to. Everyone else had already suspended their campaigns. Made sense in a way to stay in long enough to see what was going to happen. After many cases got delayed more and more to the likelihood they would be dismissed or not tried before November, she had to bail to save face, what little she had left. I guess I would have done the same. Now, is she mature enough to move on?

McCain released his delegates at the 2000 Republican convention so they could vote for Bush. This is a common practice at conventions, done to show unity. I guess Nikki’s run the anti-Trump grift for all it’s worth. There’s no money in it any more and with Joe imploding, any continued divisiveness on her part will only destroy whatever remaining credibility she may still have.

Haley would be a perfect ambassador to Zimbabwe.

One way ticket....

Lol

Exactly, you’re very astute and would make a great *MAGA official in a 2nd Trump term.

*I’m sure you have better things to do than moving to DC, but you have a very good political mind from the conservative side of things.(Thanks)

Trump wants to bring the party together, and that includes Haley, she does have supporters, I doubt the majority of them vote for Trump since they seem to lean left on basically everything but this is a nice way of bringing the party together regardless

For those who don’t know why I want Nikki in Zimbabwe—it is payback for taking down the Confederate flags when she was governor of SC.

If she loves blacks so much she needs to be sent to their homeland....

Sarah,

I can’t disagree, even though I have a low opinion of Haley.

Unity & Victory in 2024 is my motto.

She ran a scorched earth campaign that relied on cross-over Democrats voting for her, which she encouraged. She did none of it for the good of the party. And her operation-chaos damaged state voter data that parties use to identify voters for get-out-the-vote efforts. Pollster Rich Baris discussed this at the time, pointing out that it will take 2-3 election cycles to purge the Republican imposters (i.e. Democrats who voted in the Republican primary) from the databases of the states in which this played out.

"Are you thinking there was no deal between her and trump, or are you saying it was not necessary for trump to win (which is true)?"

I'm thinking that there is no deal between her and Trump. Why would Trump make a deal for her 97 delegates when he has about 2200 delegates already? Trump only needed 1200 or so to win the nomination anyway so Trump has already has1000 extra delegates without Haley's 97.

Why would Trump do a bargain for crumbs?

Yes, there’s a deal there, despite the campaign, Haley worked for Trump as UN Ambassador. She’ll be in his next administration somewhere.

Nah. Her handful of delegates aren’t going to make much difference. Why would he want her as VP? She’s a worse backstabber than pence.

Put her in charge of the Department of Education. Then dissolve the department.

She and all the others never should have challenged Trump in the first place.

The 2020 election was not stolen only from Donald Trump, it was stolen from all Republicans - all patriots, really, regardless of party.

Every single Republican politician and every single Republican voter should have been seething mad, and if they had risen in solidarity to demand a fair and just election, their united front would have even impossible to ignore or resist.

It should have been 100 million marching on Washington on Jan 6, not 1 million - then, the outcome would have been quite different.

But instead of having Trump’s back, Republican leaders all winked at each other and decided they were better off with the swamp than with Trump, so they decided to hang him out to dry.

Instead of fighting to prevent the 2020 election from being stolen these craven Republicans ran AGAINST him first chance they got!

Who are these people?
