The coup to replace President Joe Biden as the Democrat nominee appears to be sputtering as prominent Democrats are publicly lining up behind the presumptive nominee despite deep private concerns documented within the party.
From vulnerable Democrat senators trying to win reelection in red and purple states, to squad members from deep blue districts, to the chairs of the Congressional Black and Hispanic Caucuses, the party is publicly rallying behind an extremely vulnerable Biden to be at the top of the ticket this fall.
Sens. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Bob Casey (D-PA), and Jon Tester (D-MT), who face extremely competitive Senate races, refused Monday to abandon Biden—who, along with his family, is adamant he is remaining in the race.

If they remove him via the 25th Amendment, he could still lead the Democrat ticket for 2025. It would be like a 6 month vacation for him. Would that make everyone happy?

Biden knows all their secrets..so they know not to mess with him. Remember that twitter post that came shortly after Senator Warner wanted biden to drop out..basically saying “You dont want to go there if you know what I mean” so he got the memo too

If true that means their bean counters have calculated how to win in 2024 while being stuck with Biden.
I suspect Biden pulled out his, “ I know what you did last summer” file. Biden didn’t stay in power because of his smarts and good looks. He stayed in because he is a ruthless thug who destroys anyone in his way. He has files on everyone.
They tried to force him out. He dug his heels in and they realized their gambit had failed. They have no way to force him out. They have no way to force Heels Up Harris out either. They’re stuck.
Does CNN own the footage of the debate or could Trump’s team just run excerpts up to the election — and nothing else.
For Democrats with Presidential ambitions, this is the scenario they want. The only logical candidate going into 2024 would be Kamala. The chance that she will win is unlikely, but there is still a chance that she could... So ambitious Democrats would need to wait for her Presidency to conclude... By going with Biden alone, they know Trump will definitely win hands down... If Trump wins, the Democrats will likely take the elections in 2028... That’s not too long to wait for young and ambitious Dems.
Sure, it will be a sh*tshow and demented Biden is about as dangerous as it gets, but they are willing to sacrifice the stability of your nation in their own interest. Four years for the Democrat party to rehab itself... It’s not that long a time. And if Biden has to step aside before the election, then Kamala’s chances will be even less likely... If she took over today, they would have time to pump her up... If she takes over in September or October, her chances are zero.
They had to stay with the dementia-ridden corrupt POS... the millions of fraudulent ballots have already been printed out...
