Let's see - what did Hitler do?

1. Launched wars of expansion which led to World War II.
2. Launched a genocidal program against Jews, killing millions in concentration camps.
3. Pursued a socialist economy, putting big business at the service of the state.
4. Formed militant street fighters to harass and attack political opponents and dissenters.
4. Triggered massive inflation.
5. Put his own image on postage stamps.

Trump attempted none of these things. He started no new wars, brokered peace treaties between Israel and some of its Arab neighbors, reduced inflation, and did not try to imprison his political opponents.

By contrast, under Biden political opponents are being arrested and jailed, inflation rose considerably, leftist groups continue to disrupt conservative events, we have two new wars, corporations partner with government to suppress dissent, and Jews are under attack.

Hitler didn’t “trigger massive inflation” though. The hyperinflation in Germany was 10-12 years before he took power.

They’re just doing this to rev up their base...and because they know they can. Trump, in reality, was pretty weak against the left, and even the “fascist” justices he got in were the result of the work of Mitch O’Connell and allies. (And they proved not to be very “fascist” or conservative either.)

I don’t like Trump, but for reasonable motives and I know he’s anything but Hitler. But the press have discovered they can get away with saying anything they want about him, no matter how untrue or even improbable, and there is no downside to it for them. So they’re just doing the Big Brother government’s “2 minute hate” in print form.
