And if a pro-lifers think that Lindsey or Romney or McConnell give a damn about abortion just look at how they governed over the last several decades. They never even cut funding for Planned Parenthood. They did nothing! Trump did it all!

If President Trump thinks we should change it - then change it.
It’s about getting the right person elected.
The party platform doesn’t mean squat if Trump doesn’t win.
It is just a bunch of talking points to help focus the campaign, and it needs to be consistent with the what the presidential nominee (Trump) is saying on the campaign trail.
If Presidebent Trump wants to say X about abortion or try Tom avoid the topic - then that’s what the platform should say.
My post had nothing to do with Lindsay Graham, or any bills in Congress, much less the DoD budget. But in that context, my post is actually about how our principles don’t need to be compromised by shady politicians, at any level, including those at the top of the current ticket.
“Shady politicians” aren’t the problem here. Voters are.
You can't blame voters who don't have "None of the listed candidates" as an option on their ballots.
Voters are forced to choose between two Uniparty candidates.
