President Joe Biden told congressional Democrats in a letter on Monday that he will continue his reelection bid despite mounting concerns about his mental fitness and the viability of his campaign.
“I want you to know that despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump,” Biden wrote in the letter, obtained by CNN.
Biden sought to put growing concerns about his viability to rest in the forcefully worded letter.
“The question of how to move forward has been well-aired for over a week now. And it’s time for it to end. We have one job. And that is to beat Donald Trump. We have 42 days to the Democratic Convention and 119 days to the general election. Any weakening of resolve or lack of clarity about the task ahead only helps Trump and hurts us,” Biden concluded. “It is time to come together, move forward as a unified party, and defeat Donald Trump.”...

This is good and bad. Politically it is good news for the GOP. Biden has dementia which gets worse and everyone knows it except apparently Biden. Biden will lose, again, his dementia and the peril of a CIC with dementia is obvious to all. The convention will not go well - which is probably an understatement.
The bad news, hopefully we can navigate the remaining months w/o another international incident knowing Biden is incapable of doing his job.

The Democrats should check in with Michael Moore, he can see the media hungry to get that next Biden fail.The media never stops talking about Biden 24/7 and it is all negative.
Biden's incapacity is irrelevant. He hasn't been running things for years.
The people controlling things at the White House do not have dementia. Their policies might be evil, but their minds are lucid. And the international community knows it.
They must have calculated they are still within the margin of cheat.
Chucky just needs to have a little sit down with Jill and explain the facts of life:

Of course he didn’t write it. CNN is back on the reservation. Not only did they not question who actually wrote it but they led the way in broadcasting the content. “In a forcefully written letter “. The Biden protection fortress has been repaired. Now it will be “Brave Joe fighting back and standing strong for the American people”.
That is my concern...that if he can't have the presidency, he will engage in some kind of scorched earth policy.
I wonder if he still has access to the nuclear football. Or is it Jill who now knows the code(s)?
There are scenarios in which this could take a very scary turn.
The House is about to see the Joe Biden that Trump has seen for the last 3 1/2 years.
