The cabinet will not use the 25th. That would put Kamala in charge, and she could then fire the lot of them and nominate her friends (assuming she has any).
That is correct.
And I assume that the vote would be in public since it is a Constitutional matter, so anybody who voted ‘no’ would be essentially firing themselves.
And anybody who voted ‘yes’ would be doing the same if there wasn’t a majority to accomplish the removal.
