The accounting trick to rearm NATO didn’t produce a Ukrainian victory. Ukraine only gets the kind of equipment Ronald Reagan era produced. Russian has rearmed and has pushed NATO to the point all that old equipment is in short supply.
Poland is as vocal as Macron pn Ukraine. Their flexing has resulted in Chinese troops across their border in Belarus.
Ukraine has united China, Russia, and their allies against the US.

It is grim, all right. The hew and cry that Europe should step up, now that Europe is stepping up, is that it will be WW! Ukraine was attacked by Russia. Rewarding Putin for that is unconscionable.
