‘Worst It’s Ever Been’: New Hampshire Family Plagued by Backyard Homeless Encampment
Breitbart ^ | 07/07/2024 | Amy Furr

A family in Concord, New Hampshire, is at a loss of what to do about a growing homeless encampment that is directly behind their historic house.

Robin Bach and her husband have worked hard to restore their 19th century Walker residence for their children, ages 8 and 11, to enjoy for years to come, the Concord Monitor reported Saturday.

However, there is an expanding homeless encampment in the woods on their property that has given them cause for concern because no one seems to know who is responsible for it.

Bach said her children are afraid to play outside and she has called the police 37 times since 2018 due to numerous issues, such as gunshots, linked to the camp.

Be a shame if it were to become the site of a spontaneous wildfire.

They're lucky it's behind the house and not on their front porch.

Learn from California, entire rest of the country.

By wildfire I assume you mean pulling the trigger without aiming.

They probably have.

Time for Vito and a few friends to come by and make them an offer they can’t refuse.

I have 25 acres of woods and finally put up no trespassing signs a few years ago. I now understand why some of them include the word, “posted”. If someone tries to camp there they are trespassing, by definition.

“Trespassing” is a legal term, and all that that implies.

That’s why I put up no-trespassing signs on mine. Without the signs, it can be iffy.

Excerpt:
“However, there is an expanding homeless encampment in the woods on their property that has given them cause for concern because no one seems to know who is responsible for it.”

If it’s their property, they’re responsible for it. I’m sure their homeowners insurance company would like to know how many people are setting up residence on their property. Put up ‘NO TRESPASSING’ signs and prosecute trespassers.

Excerpt:
“The homeowner recognizes it is a complicated issue, and while she wants the encampment removed, she is concerned about where the people living there will go.”

Definitely misplaced compassion and probably Left looney family. Again, put up the signs and press trespassing charges.

In Arkansas and other states a band of purple paint on a tree or post = no trespassing. I use the signs with paint interspersed between.

With the paint there is no way they can rip down the signs and pretend they were never there.

Same in PA, but there are plenty of urbanites who have no clue what it means.

Merrimack County, NH is somewhat liberal. In Merrimack County, NH 53.8% of the people voted Democrat in the last presidential election, 44.1% voted for the Republican Party, and the remaining 2.1% voted Independent.

In the last 4 years (2018-2021), there were 6,637 contributions totaling $895,098 to the Democratic Party and liberal campaigns, averaging $135 per contribution.

In the last 4 years, there were 779 contributions totaling $166,424 to the Republican Party and conservative campaigns, averaging $214 per contribution.

The voted for this. It is unfortunate, but if people are on your land illegally, then build a fence. Start with a bullhorn, then a bulldozer.
