The desperation from Democrats regarding Joe Biden is going into overdrive, and a final answer regarding his political future could come this week with the push of one particularly influential individual.
Axios on Sunday dropped an explosive report that a fast-growing number of Democrats are begging and plotting an intervention as Dementia Joe refuses to quit the Presidental race. They want everyone from the Obamas to congressional leaders to persuade Biden to drop out by this Friday.
Top Democrats want Biden out by then because they hope he will endorse Harris as his successor and help ward off an all-out brawl at the Democratic Convention in Chicago for the nomination.
Axios reports:
If Biden were to endorse Vice President Harris as the nominee, she’d need time to ramp up and pick a running mate. And if Biden didn’t anoint, there’d be a frenzy among governors and ambitious Democrats to try to win the nomination at the Democratic convention in Chicago in mid-August.
“The sh*t is going to hit the fan on Monday when Congress returns,” a House Democrat told Axios. “People are scared about their own races. But they’re also worried about the country, and about democracy.”
Several House members are reportedly close to speaking out publicly or signing letters telling Biden to give up. According to the outlet, these conversations will heat up this week.
A top Democrat operative told Axios that the only person oblivious to Biden’s perilous political position is Biden himself.
Indeed, Sunday’s Washington Post reveals that an adviser to big-monied Dem donors is saying that “for every 10 people who think he should exit, one thinks he should stay.” The story also notes that people who are “publicly vouching for Biden, at the behest of the White House and campaign, privately say there’s no path.”

With all this sudden flapping on about “democracy” I’m getting suspicious that the Democrats have plans to do away with voting altogether.
What took so long? Oh yeah, they can no longer lie about what everyone knows. As little as 2 weeks ago it was “cheap fakes”.
The debate trap they thought would ensnare Trump ( as so many ridiculous FReepers thought it was) backfired big time.

Sure. They have to corral enough Republican votes to make it stick, for one. And they have to accept Harris getting a major boost toward the nomination. Either is possible, but time’s ticking.

Joe Biden has always been stubborn and doesn’t care what anyone outside of his family (aka co-conspirators) think. The harder they push the more he will resist.

Agree with you. Except Trump won’t be a shoo-in due to cheating. If he is inaugurated, it’ll be due to millions of prayers, and the grace of God.

Too late. The atmosphere is already polluted, and there is not a clean visage in the place. And at that, some are already a lot dirtier than the others.

Joe Biden did not just have a “bad night” on June 27th. He has had a couple of bad DECADES while the Biden Money Machine was being built and spreading its one product, access to Joe Biden, to far corners of the world.
Everyone on both sides needs to step back and let Dr. Kevin R. Cannard examine Biden at Walter Reed for a few days and then suggest treatment plans.
If Dr Cannard feels that Biden can stay on, so be it.
If Dr Cannard feels that Biden should resign, so be it.

The President’s personal physician and a nurse who coordinates his care scheduled the meetings with Dr. Kevin R. Cannard. Before last July, he had come only once during Joe Biden’s administration.
Dr. Kevin R. Cannard, a Parkinson’s disease specialist, has visited the White House at least nine times in the last year, official White House visitor logs show.
The logs show Dr. Cannard traveled to the White House residence medical clinic each time.
He met either with the president’s personal physician or the naval nurse who coordinates care for the president and other top officials, the logs show.
Dr. Cannard’s spate of visits began on July 28, 2023 and continued at least through March 28, 2024. The most recently released logs end on April 1, so it is not clear if Dr. Cannard has been to the White House more recently.
The logs do not note the purpose of Dr. Cannard’s visits.
A physician profile page for him notes he is a “neurologist and movement disorders specialist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center” who researches treatments for “early phase Parkinson’s disease.” Walter Reed provides medical care to senior federal officials.
The Bidens are mean, vindictive , treacherous back stabbers who's first instincts were to blame their most loyal and hard core staffers and advisors for Joe Biden's personal failings in the debate.
The Biden's immediate reaction to his epic loss in the debate was public threats of mass firings and a major campaign staff shake up of people who have been working as hard as humanly possible to willfully defraud the American public as to Biden's fitness to hold office is perhaps the most spectacularly dumb political move I have ever seen in my life .

It’s telling how little the primarys mean. Millions voted for Biden, he got more than enough delegates and it seems to be meaningless as long as Pelosi or whomever doesn’t like you. Yea, they’re definitely going to cheat in 2024.
For the preservation of democracy, we need to cancel everyone’s vote and install a new “candidate”.
