Per this site, the max number is the square footage divided by 36, with adjustments.
Let’s say it’s 20 x20, so 400 square feet.
Divide the square footage by 36 - that room should be able to hold 11 people. However, the occupancy will be lower if there are a number of obstructions, such as tables, columns or couches.
