Except with a Trump headed ticket that’s inverted. You already have the attack dog at the top of the ticket. For VP you balance that with loyalty and calm seriousness. It soothes the Karens\suburban women. They thought they had that with Pence, they didn’t. Just because Pence failed doesn’t make the desire for balance wrong. That’s the traditional reasoning. Of course, times have changed, conditions different maybe Karens, etc aren’t the factor they once were.
Pence is reptilian. Anyone could see that. They need a Dr. Phil type.
