President Joe Biden gave his first post-debate television interview to reassure Americans he could handle another four years in office-- but it turns out, it wasn't just one "bad night."
After a shaky debate performance against former President Donald Trump last week, Biden has faced an avalanche of pressure to drop out of the 2024 race, citing his cognitive decline.
Biden, who says he's staying in the race, has defied calls to drop out of the running, confident he will beat Trump.
The 81-year-old president agreed to a sit-down interview with CBS News’ George Stephanopoulos because he said he would not let a 90-minute debate overshadow all of his so-called “accomplishments” from the past three years.
Stephanopoulos asked Biden if his disastrous debate performance was a "bad episode or the sign of a more serious condition?”
Biden’s excuse? He was “exhausted.”
However, the host pushed back, pointing out that Biden had spent the entire week prior vacationing at Camp David.
“I just had a really bad cold!” The president claimed.

It is worth noting that Biden has spent more than 40 percent of his presidency on vacation and his days are similar to someone who works a cushiony 9-5.
Biden also blamed his troubling debate performance on jet lag. However, Stephanopoulos pointed out that he had over a week— 12 days to be exact— to recover.

On Friday, during a rally in Wisconsin, Biden pushed back against critics who say it’s time for him to pass the torch. Instead, the president declared he would “win again in 2020” as he bashed former President Donald Trump.
“What’s Joe going to do? Is he going to stay in the race? Is he going to drop out? What are you going to do?” Biden told the crowd. “Well, here’s my answer: I am running and I’m going to win again.”

As said today.....Make no mistake: Joe Biden, for all his hackneyed talk about ‘battling for the soul of America’, cares not one whit for that.
He cares about staying in power. Full stop.
Biden faced a low bar after his debate
At this point, every Biden answer, interview and speech will serve as a Rorschach test of sorts to voters, who consistently tell pollsters that they’re worried about his age. And if people were looking for further signs of trouble, they were easy to find.

Supposed “Voters” knew Biden was failing before they voted for this term....any still supporting Bin are simply party wired who care only that the party holds power.
We may be witnessing something akin to when God hardened the heart of Pharaoh.

That statement alone says the fix is in. Democrats have a bad habit of telegraphing their thoughts when they already know the outcome. Obama in 2012 was classic letting the rat out of the bag.
Note: When Democrats “phone it in” they already know that outcome and don’t even pretend to try. Now we know why Biden hid in his basement for most of the 2020 campaign.

If I were a betting man, I'd put money on the Biden presidency being extinguished by August 1st. Heck, at the rate things are snowballing - the MSM long knives are out in full force - I wouldn't be surprised if SloJoe is out by next Friday (if not sooner).

It would be very easy to get the dems to vote for 25th Amendment removal. They are really good at “just following orders.” It will be hard for Republicans to vote against removal. It’s too fine and nuanced to say “He’s not unfit for office today, but vote against him in November.”
