Hurricane Beryl barreled across the Caribbean, made landfall along the Yucatan Peninsula, and is forecast to make landfall in SE Texas.

What's the barometer,any word on steering,water temps—likely getting bigger or more intense or is this thing about run its course.Did it ever hit five?sorry for so many wonder questions I've been sick and out of several loops.
NOAA is installing a zillion mini weather sites all over the world(expanding govt. reach?) but a little slack on fixing the necessary sites.Kinda like demo-rat mgmt.....

Each update has nudged the track a tad further east (closer to Houston/Galveston Bay). Only 2mb pressure drop. NHC still expects Beryl to regain hurricane strength before landfall.

Watch for heavy rainfall/flooding in Houston.

Hurricane Hunter planes need attention. Too many missions aborted due to mechanical issues.

Current Weather Conditions Buoy 42020 09:00:00 (GMT) on 07/07 Combined Sea Height: 5.9 ft Dominant Period: 11.0 secs Wind Speed: 19.5 kts Wind Gust: 21.4 kts Wind Direction: 030 degrees Barometric Pressure: 1008.1 mbs Air Temperature: 85.8 degrees Water Temperature: 87.1 degrees ....................

If there's 87 degress water there could provide some fuel although this storm has to be tired.

Beryl’s track continues to shift east, meaning little to no rain for the Alamo City

As of Sunday morning, Beryl is still a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico but will likely strengthen into a Category 1 Hurricane by Sunday evening

Beryl will be making landfall with damaging wind gusts overnight Sunday into Monday morning near Matagorda Bay, with storm surge risk throughout the Texas Coast Rainfall will vary SIGNIFICANTLY across Texas. Flooding rains favor those from Houston to Texarkana, hardly any rain west of I-35

Still, times of gusty winds are still possible throughout the day Monday, especially along and east of I-35

CHANGES IN BERYL’S PATH:

Beryl’s path continues to shift east, now likely making landfall farther up shore near the Port O’Connor/Palacios/Matagorda area. Landfall for Beryl has also sped up, and is expected overnight Sunday into Monday morning.

The continued shift east keeps San Antonio on the drier side of the storm, resulting in little to no rain for the Alamo City. Flooding rains of 7-10 inches are possible along the north central Texas Coast, with 4-6 inches from Houston to Texarkana.

vertical wind shear is in the process of decreasing below 10 kt over the storm
this morning, which should provide it with a 24-30 hour window to start convection around the core.

Of all the $$$$ billions diverted by the Biden Organized Crime Family (e.g. student loans, Ukraine, Climate Change scams), a tiny fraction could have been used to improve hurricane hunter equipment.
