Jill and Hunter Biden are taking command behind the scenes at the White House, urging President Joe Biden to fire staff they believed were of disservice to him and to fight on as the Democratic nominee.
Meanwhile, the president's sister, Valerie Biden Owens, who has served as Biden's 'gut check' and closest adviser, is on her way to the White House for the July 4th celebrations, where she will have face-to-face meetings regarding her brother's re-election campaign.
The trio's support for the president comes amid reports he has told allies he is considering dropping out of the race. The White House denies this, saying Biden is in it to win it. Biden and his team are working frantically to shore up support among party members, lawmakers, governors and donors to reassure them he can beat Donald Trump in November.
Jill, Hunter and Valerie are the three most important people in any decision Joe Biden makes about his future.
He listens to them the most. They would need to give their blessing from him to exit the presidential race. But a new report from NBC News reveals how the trio is circling the wagons in support of Biden staying in the race. But Hunter was at his father's side, walking in behind him at a ceremony in the East Room for Medal of Honor winners and, according to reports, joining in meetings in the West Wing.
The entire family will be at the White House to celebrate the Fourth of July.
It's the second time in five days they will be together.
Among the conversations was talk about whether or not to fire senior White House adviser Anita Dunn and her husband, Bob Bauer, who is Biden's personal lawyer.

I think Trump is the "forgive and forget" type by default. However, this time around he knows the true nature of the beast. It's "kill or be killed" time.
What if Jill or someone else is forging his signature? I wouldn’t put it past them.

That sounds interesting. Normally those two work together because they both work against liberty. But them warring with each other can only weaken both. Generally I’m seeing conservatives rooting for biden to stay because he’s so horrendous, which I agree with. But watching the media do something similar to it’s job would be popcorn worthy. Especially with a failure like biden.
Stay Joe STAY! Because Trump can beat Joe and any other Democrat clown. Except for Moochelle. She can beat The Donald.
Mooch is ready and waiting to be drafted by the Dems. Her tell is that she has half her hair in black style cornrows.
Friday night will determine whether he goes (by the 25th amendment or by resigning) or stays. ABC will either do everything they can to make Biden shine, which they have the means to do, (they’ve been doing it for years) or they will torpedo him. I’m guessing they’ll sink him, because they know Trump can beat him, and there is no loyalty among politicians. We’ll have a front row seat in (almost) real time.

Quite a bit was said in the Federalist #10 about the reasons the Founders didn't wish for a democracy, and the biggest concern for Madison (and Jefferson) was that of faction. Many modern readers identify that with political parties, but that's not entirely right. What we're seeing in DC at the moment is faction.
It is sweet, though, to hear the Dems expressing with apparently no sense of irony that Trump might just do to them what they've been doing to him. It is the Left's fondest illusion that power once seized is theirs by right and forever, and that a really bad precedent will never swing around to bite them in their collective butt. Pass the popcorn, please.
