Defiant on call with campaign staff and phoning other top Democrats, the president vows to stay in the race.

Joe Biden unexpectedly joined a Zoom call with campaign and Democratic National Committee staff on Wednesday, mounting a new push to preserve the viability of his embattled candidacy, according to two people on the call.

Biden says: no one is pushing me to my knees like Harris, or bending me over like Buttigiege! I will go screaming “get off my lawn!!” into that goodnight.

Names and numbers are very difficult for dementia folks to remember or get correct. That is the part of memory that fails first.

This delusional behavior may be more alarming than Biden’s debate performance... America can not be run by a dementia patient. Period!

Jill and Hunter were not elected President, yet they clearly are jointly doing the job that Joe can’t... They were not elected, so they are currently subverting the constitution of the United States.

Amazing how whenever there were leaks, they were always against a republican.

Democrats never leak.

Until now.

This is the greatest Operation Chaos opportunity of all time!

Rush would be telling everyone to do whatever they can to keep Biden in the race. Write letters to the editor, tell pollsters you’re voting for Biden no matter what, load up the comments on social media.

When your enemy is weak, you don’t want to encourage a new enemy to take his place.

Anyone can see Biden has been going downhill for months and the rate of decline is accelerating. People now see it, but they will also see the jacked-up Biden and that will give them hope. That’s ideal - the longer they think the old Joe Biden will be back to win the day the less time they have to pull any shenanigans. At worst case, they do replace him but at the cost of a huge rift in the Democrat party and damage to down-ticket candidates.

When your enemy is on fire - throw gasoline!

Hang in there, Joe. We need a Republican congress too and your staying in will assure that for us. If anyone bothers you about leaving the race, have them call me and I’ll take care of them for you.

Has anyone else thought about how they used to gauge voters’
reactions to a candidate appearing harsh, mean, vindictive or angry looking?

They had to coach Nixon and others about their resting faces and likability. Dukakis was perceived as cold to crowds and was called “the grim guy in the boys’ department suit.”

Now the only non gazing into the far reaches of outer space look of Biden is the angry, spiteful, yelling old man in front of a crowd. Considered a virtue compared to his “I felt like I might fall asleep during the debate.”

Agreeing with those who want Joe to stay on the ballot...As H.L. Mencken predicted “the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron”. Now I gotta know if a drooling clodpoll like Biden can keep it.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/07/03/us/elections/times-siena-poll-registered-voter-crosstabs.html

I have my doubts about this poll. The methodology is highly questionable.

For example, their unweighted sample was 23% graduate degrees. Weighted, they adjusted that down to 15%, but that reality would spread through all responses.

They have Black support at 13%, weighted. Highly suspicious compared to other polls. I think they have a weighting model that is weighting themselves right out of accuracy.

They have parties in the 20% range and Independents only 33%, which is 10% below other surveys.

Hispanic Trump support, 40ish%. Likely voter definition was 80% defined by previous voting. This guts the young respondent profile.

They are throwing weighting coefficients at their samples left and right and some look suspect. Like it’s a cellphone sample and they got a lot of grad students answering, who they weighted down to a representative sample, but this won’t change their response profile.

Overall — simply too much weighting of this and that. I think they are trying to follow accreditation regs, but they are leaning really hard on 2020 results — when the virus probably elevated turnout via VBM. No virus this year, so more are going to forget to vote and probably tossed their VBM packet.

The Biden crime family does not wish to leave.

Bet that he/they are not going anywhere.

The other crime families that make up the Democrat party criminal enterprise, will likely back down IMO.

He had a cold. You remember when Trump flew all over hosting rallies and when he was President and caught a cold? When he had to nap. When he refused a cognitive test? When he never spoke to the media or took questions for hours?
People should be more angry about this Feaux Presidency. His entire term governing by committee. Clyburn is the most responsible for it.

Dig in your heels all you want, Joe. History will thank you for your tenacity in the face of adversity, though perhaps not in the way you imagine.

It’s just hard to figure out who the underdog is here. And of course, all the world roots for the underdog.

As we know, the Dems always have large majorities in CA,NY, MA, IL and others. Thus, to make up for a small lead in low population states by the GOP candidate, the Dem always has to have a big lead. Even then, not an Electoral College lead.

And then Hillary types can say they sort of “won” because with CA and others’ vote totals meant they lost the electoral college but won the overall vote total nationally. Doesn’t count. Hillary: “Yes, I could beat Trump again.”
