“Wait…I thought the Zeeper shills were telling us Trump was ALL IN on war with Russia?”

They’re only here to troll, as they all just how DISCREDITED they are.

“Ukraine war ain’t about gays.” (not your quote)

The hell it’s not. You’re right, it sure as hell is about gays. There is literally NO OTHER REASON for all of the Leftists in the West to HATE PUTIN to the extent they do, and that was well before he invaded Ukraine.

“But Williams, if Vicky Nuland traipsed all over Ukraine instigating war, why can’t The Trump do the same in the name of peace?”

Because there’s an element here that JUST LOVES war.

“Peace talks are hardly a negotiation. Is this stuff really confusing to you?”

We’re being TROLLED by this account. The claim seems to be that Trump is breaking the law by ‘negotiating with Putin’, yet even the article doesn’t talk about breaking the law, plus the article is from Politico, so everyone is a REAL Trump supporter knows it’s yet another Fake News hit piece.

This one REEKS of trolling.

It certainly is. No where in the Politico article does it say Trump is negotiating with Putin. He's pretty busy trying to stay out of jail, the last I looked. I understand this entire plan is a Richard Haas (CFR) concoction that he's been trying to sell for more than a year. He's simply dangling it under Trump's nose in hopes it gets publicity, which it just did. And to that effort I say thank you, Mr Haas. I wish there were a hundred more peace seekers like him. Williams is simply too thick to see the obvious.

What gives them away as Trolls, at this point, is that they FULLY UNDERSTAND that the Ukraine War ends with us discussion a clear-cut Russian victory, or none of us ever discuss anything again on FR, as an EMP (or worse) puts us all out of business.

Considering they know all that, because they are not dumb, the only rational conclusion is that they are here to Troll us.

Huge missed opportunity to bring Russia into the Western fold after the USSR collapsed.

Maybe you are confused about what “my country” means. Is it the USA or Russia which you have described as a wonderful place?

So did Trump meet, or not meet, for an hour with Putin
with NO OTHER bilingual (Russian/English) American in attendance. If Trump was entirely dependent on English translations by a Russian, I would be concerned about the reliability of the communication.

So, you are suggesting that America will be Greater Again once it violates an agreement we and Russia both signed saying we would both defend Ukraine from outside invasion. This was our joint agreement on behalf of Ukraine when they agreed to return all the nuclear missiles still in Ukraine to the new Russia. Are you saying MAGA stands for dishonoring our sworn agreements with other countries? If so, that is not a promising way to start a new administration.

Hasn’t Putin already expanded westward by holding Kaliningrad Oblast? Kaliningrad is sandwiched between Poland and Lithuania, so what is the problem regarding Ukrain or Georgia membership. Merely that greedy Putin wants them. His argument is completely false and self-serving.

I find it truly amazing that all these Russia/Putin supporters are raising the “gay” issue, when Russia seems to vocally promote homosexual rape as a “manly punishment” for their own military recruits and others. I now find myself wondering how many times Putin, a relatively small (5’7”) man was raped as a youth. Perhaps that explains his compulsive need to be the richest man in the world with his 200 $billion, and multiple gigantic, fortified mansions.

There was a very interesting report last night discussing the China problem facing Indonesia because China was threatening a small shoal/island that is part of Indonesia. The report stressed the importance of both NATO and the US realizing the need to give more attention to China’s “small” incursions. They said China is doing this as a test to see if we are really going to help Taiwan in case of an attack. That we don’t even have a treaty, and if we don’t defend a country with which we do have a treaty, then we must not be much of a threat. [note: I saw this late at night, so I might be mistaken about which SE Asia country was involved in this problem. I tuned into this station late in the program.]

NATO is only in the early stages of looking at the Pacific problems with China.

The Philippines. Until its leader invokes Article V of the defense pact, nothing will happen. My guess is he’s worried about the 10% of the country’s exports that go to China. Then there’s then question of what happens if China escalates and starts going after Filipino shipping.

The discussion reported that NAtO was in the early stages of looking at the China/Pacific problem, and they needed to increase the amount and pace of NAto and US involvment. My thought was, is there some other shoal/island that we or NATO could turn into a fortified support of the SE Asia countries being threatened by China?

I read it the first time and I have read it again. At this point it is unclear how things will shake out if Trump wins again. Therefore I chose to pick the point of what a Great country does in international relations and hope that is what will continue to happen to keep America Great.

The screeching from the usuals is repetitive, tiring and boring. The comments here on this thread are no different. Sending billions, Ukraine can’t win, why don’t you go, gays, sodomites, billions of $…..

If they are not Russian trolls, the are effectively acting as one

I am a Trump supporter and I remember things like Trump sending actual weapons to Ukraine, telling NATO members they must spend more on military, and telling Europe they should not be so dependent on Russia for energy and nordstream 2 is a bad idea.
So do I believe that Trump would force Ukraine to accept some “peace” deal
That gives Putin what he wants no I don’t

Ukraine is in a difficult position, but I think Russia or more appropriately Putin is in a worse position

Almost 2 1/2 years into this conflict and Russia holds less territory than they had. Much of the black fleet has been turned into submarines and they have effectively abandoned Sevastopol as a naval port, their vast(we were told unlimited) stocks of soviet era weapons have been severely depleted and are now doing banzai charges with Chinese golf carts, atvs, and motorcycles.

Their aircraft hide behind their borders protected by western(US) ridiculous ROE
They can’t protect their refineries and other critical infrastructure

Their military export market has collapsed. Besides needing everything they can produce, the performance of these weapons have been less than advertised

Convicts(men and women), mercs are needed to fill their ranks for the meat waves.
The great northern offensive resulted in kilometers of gains, and is being reversed.
Russias economy is suffering and the eastern non- ethnic regions are suffering disproportionally to putins Moscow abs St. Petersburg

Conclusion
I don’t see Ukraine as having the ability to militarily win this war, and I don’t think they have to. Since Putin loved “history “ I am sure he is well aware of the many collapses of empires from within, and Russia has its fair share. After ww1 and 1991 are just two and that is how I see it going

As to Trump as president, I don’t think Putin will be as happy with that result as the media likes to say. Trump is a business man, and Putin running Russia is not good business

Hasn’t Putin already expanded westward

Quite obviously, it's Putin that wants to have borders with NATO countries, and then he points to how NATO is expanding eastward, in order to launch wars against the neighboring nations, like Ukraine. There are so many blind and stupid people who can't see what Putin is up to, or just prefer to be in denial, or are just plain Russian supporters.
