I have no idea what the exact reason is, but I can almost guarantee, had to be on Thursday and recent SCOTUS immunity case through a giant wrench in their plans.
To me, and I’m no attorney, that means new trial, since some jurors may have been influenced by “evidence involving official acts”

Delayed to September 18th. What a joke. Did the Trump legal team just walk him into a disaster for an “October Surprise”? It would have been bad enough that they imprison him in July but September, it will be very difficult to know the impact in time to react.
It shouldn’t have been delayed.
