(The Center Square) – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts in the United States military are ineffective, a new Arizona State University study suggests.
The study done by the university’s Center for American Institutions argued that there is an emphasis on training new soldiers about social issues like “unconscious bias” and “intersectionality” in a way the center says runs contrary to typical American ideals.
The study examined DEI plans in different sectors of the military, including DEI office staffing and education at academies like West Point.
“The massive DEI bureaucracy, its training and its pseudo-scientific assessments are at best distractions that absorb valuable time and resources,” the executive summary states. “At worst they communicate the opposite of the military ethos: e.g. that individual demographic differences come before team and mission.”
Donald Critchlow, the director of the center, wrote in the studies introduction that it was focused on looking at the influence of Critical Race Theory in the United States Armed Forces training.

DEI / Woke is ineffective to create a military that can defend the country.
It is highly effective to create a military that is entirely loyal to the Regime.
DEI training is basically a struggle session where whites get told they’re racist just for existing.
Can thank Milley for that.
I don’t see how you recover from this propaganda campaign. Just from a level of senior-officer leadership....you’d have to first probably cut over 10k ranking officers because they can’t perform at the level required.
Especially during a time when certain politicians are pushing to go to war in Europe.
Sounds like my old mandatory race relations classes back in the early 70’s in the Army. All whites are racist, even if we’ve never heard of it before.
Is it really?
A "woke" military would run like cowards the minute they were challenged. Loyalty to the regime would be the last thing on their minds.
DIE DEI!
Which is why I do everything I can to avoid DEI training sessions at my place of employment. I refuse to go, and my leadership is fully aware and supportive.
Why do people have to an obviously stupid thing for years before they realize it was an obviously stupid thing?
I remember those days. I think it was about 1976.
That sentence was written by a DEI committee.
Agreed!
Good catch. Also did you notice NONE of Biden’s speechwriters are ‘of color’?
The lefts cancer destroys everything it touches.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Are Necessities in U.S. Military
Feb. 9, 2022 | By Jim Garamone, DOD News |
Diversity, equity and inclusion in the military are necessities for the United States, Bishop Garrison, the senior advisor to the secretary of defense for human capital and diversity, equity and inclusion said. Garrison spoke to the Center for a New American Security today about the progress being made by the department and what still needs to happen. Some 41 percent of the military identify as members of minority groups, and that number will grow larger, Garrison said. The military must be able to attract, train and retain them for the services to retain competitive edges, he said.
I want people to see [diversity, equity and inclusion] as another tool in the toolkit and another way of solving these problems.” Bishop Garrison, the senior advisor to the secretary of defense for human capital and diversity, equity and inclusion Fewer Americans between the ages of 18 to 24 — the prime ages for recruits — qualify for military service. “So, we have to find out ways of getting to a broader talent pool and broader interest groups in order to bring those highly qualified, talented individuals in,” he said.
He noted that the percentage of minorities drops as they rise up the ranks. “Their numbers tend to begin to decline in terms of service; they tend to get out, and there could be a variety of reasons as to why that actually is,” he said. “We need to take a very data-driven approach to get a better understanding as to what’s actually happening here. What is the problem? And how can we address it?”
Garrison said the need for diversity, equity and inclusion to be a consideration or a part of all decisions in the military.
One of Trump’s top priorities should be to rid the Military of all the damn wokesters in command positions, from the top down to Company level...all of them.
The DEI people weight like 500 pounds so that’s a non-starter right there
