“ Regulations are the means by which agencies translate broad legal mandates into practical guardrails”
If we need an administrator to explain the law, they didn’t do it right. But the Democrats took advantage and said, it’s our playground now and we make the rules. So it’s our way or the highway. We’ve been suffering ever since they discovered this goldmine of underhanded lawmaking.
“ Regulations are the means by which agencies translate broad legal mandates into practical guardrails”
You see Mr. Reich, that right there is the problem. “Broad legal mandates” is the antithesis to established rights such as due process, equal protection, and other pesky barriers to government tyranny. That you use the word mandates suggest you do not understand that even when the word “shall” is part of a law it does not preclude a person from having their day in court if they run up against that shall.
You must be thinking of the Divine Right of Kings.
