I doubt it and if he tried, I’m sure other courts would step in quickly. Maybe he’ll name an amount and put it on hold pending appeals. He’s an idiot, but not totally.
If Merchan does in fact sentence Trump to prison, it would be immediately stayed, if not by Merchan himself, but a federal court.
They twisted an statute of limitations-lapsed misdemeanor record keeping charge into a federal election multiple felony count, so the federal courts would assume jurisdiction and stay this horse$hit immediately.
SCOTUS clearly sees their gameplay and is not entertaining it in the least.
