The media’s reaction to Biden did smother all the normal digs and corrections, and criticisms of the Republican candidate, it was very useful (and very helpful), and very refreshing to watch everyone focus on the democrat negatives for once.

Nearly all the historians are moderate to extreme leftists.
Meacham for example denounced Trump in terms close to slander on TV panels. Douglas Brinkley sat in on CNN panels on how horrible Trump has been. Others made FDR and LBJ into demigods in the history books.

Based on campaign contributions data, historians were listed under two categories: Social Science and Academia. In the first historians are 88% Democrats and 12% Republicans, in the second history professors are 95% Democrats.
Also, there is a paper based on surveys of academics. Predictably, among historians 80% are Democrats and 17% more are Independent.
In other words, Lichtmqn is saying that CNN should have hidden from the public how incompetent Biden is before they vote for him as President.
Lichtman has repeatedly embarrassed himself in recent elections, upset that polls, elections, and his 13-keys don't point the way he wants. Upset now that the media wouldn't openly favor Biden. Oh, too bad.

Lichtman is angry because the debate made clear that we now have a choice between Biden as Cadaver In Chief and Trump as Commander in Chief.

Leaving aside that his idea of a “lie” is actually a just a difference in opinion, the fact is that Trump could form complete sentences, argue coherently for his points, and communicate effectively. Broken Biden could do none of those things.
They did not cut him off like they did the Trump supporters.
