Hurricane Debbie Inland aftermath visited us yesterday. First hour power went out. Spent hours on back deck watching. Heavy winds. Had two kitties out also. They weren’t afraid as there was just wind n rain - no electrical activity. Power to hopefully be restored by late Saturday.

Now at hospital and came 6 hrs early to soak in AC and charge phone and hearing aids.

Still verdict out on son Jeff regarding damage to gall bladder, pancreas & liver. Has had several procedures and working with occupational therapist and physical therapist to work on mobility.

“Still verdict out on son Jeff regarding damage to gall bladder, pancreas & liver.”

What kind of hospital is it that they can’t tell. There are tests that will show what the damage is.

“A doctor or other medical professional can use a variety of tests to diagnose gallbladder problems, including imaging tests and blood tests:”

Imaging tests
“These can include ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, and cholescintigraphy. Ultrasounds are considered the best imaging test for gallstones, and can also reveal inflammation, blockages, or growths. CT scans can show gallstones and complications like blockages, and MRIs can show stones or growths in the bile ducts.”

Blood tests
“These can include complete blood counts (CBCs), liver function tests, and pancreas function tests. CBCs can look for high levels of white blood cells, which may indicate infection or inflammation. Liver function tests can help detect blockages in the bile ducts, and pancreas function tests can help detect blockages in the pancreatic duct.”
