I'm thinking instead of high tea today, we visit an Italian pastry shop, a pasticceria. It will be filled with little versions of any kind of pastry your heart desires. One or two bites each, so of course it's imperative to order more than one.
Caffe can be ordered along with them. Probably not tea though.
In Trieste, where my mother was from, there was an Austrian influence since Trieste had been part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. I really think that made their pastries the best, a combination of Italian and Austrian. The soup, not so much. Iota, a Triestian specialty, is sauerkraut soup.

This is a close up of Winter's eyes. they went from dark blue and just kept getting lighter and lighter. she's 11 weeks old so I think they will stay this color. they are so light on the inside, they look almost white. But she's not an albino because she Has A red tabby tail.

This is from sweetie, to cute not to share. It could go into IM’s list of the predicted next thing.
It’s pretty bad when the bus load of people paid to go to a rally has to chant about what they are NOT doing (ie., Trump got under their skin).
