John D. Rockefeller was once the world’s wealthiest individual and the first billionaire. By 25, he controlled one of the largest oil refineries in the United States, and by 31, he was the largest oil refiner globally. By 38, he managed 90% of the oil refined in the U.S.
By the age of 50, he was the richest man in the country. His entire life, from his decisions to his relationships, was focused on building his personal power and wealth.
However, at 53, Rockefeller’s health deteriorated drastically. He suffered immense pain, lost all his hair, and could barely eat anything other than soup and crackers. Despite his wealth, he was miserable. His physicians predicted he wouldn’t live another year.
Facing his mortality, Rockefeller had an epiphany. He realized that his vast wealth was meaningless if he couldn’t take it with him. Recognizing this, he made a significant decision.
He called his attorneys, accountants, and managers, declaring his intention to devote his wealth to hospitals, research, and charitable causes. This led to the creation of the Rockefeller Foundation, which funded major medical discoveries, including Penicillin and cures for Malaria, Tuberculosis, and Diphtheria.
Remarkably, once Rockefeller began to give back, his health improved dramatically. Although expected to die at 53, he lived until the age of 98.
Rockefeller discovered the power of gratitude and philanthropy, giving away the majority of his wealth. This act not only healed him but also made him whole.
In his later years, he reflected in his diary:
“God taught me that everything belongs to Him, and I am merely a channel to fulfill His wishes. My life has been a long, happy journey; full of work and play. I let go of worry, and God was good to me every day.”

I took some cute baby pictures tonight, and a video. Hopefully by tomorrow I can get it uploaded and post it. She’s not doing much other than trying to crawl around and doing a lot of stretching and yawning. But it’s pretty adorable. I love her white fur, it’s starting to get really fluffy and soft, she might be long haired! I can’t imagine a white long-haired daddy running around the forest though, poor guy.
The rest of her is bright pink. And of course her eyes are dark blue right now. I thought they wouldn’t be dark because of the lack of melanin if she was albino but apparently the blue color is the lack of melanin, it’s the combination of all the lack of colors. Or something like that. From what I read I won’t be able to tell if she’s albino until her real eye color comes through. Kind of hope she isn’t, it comes with its own autoimmune issues as well as easily sunburned and skin issues.

Harrison Tinsley has been fighting for full custody of his son, who, as a toddler, was declared “non-binary” by his mother and dressed in girls’ clothing. It’s been a long and emotional battle, but Harrison just texted my producer to let us know he’s WON full custody of his boy!
