I did not know anything about Simone Biles very difficult early childhood until this Olympics when I watched a movie about her life. She did not have it easy when she was young, with an absent father and an alcoholic mother
I don’t understand how anyone can fault her for becoming too apprehensive about the extremely dangerous moves she makes on the vault during the Olympics in Tokyo. She had always had her close support team: adoptive mother and father (bio grandfather)and coach at her at big events. None were in Tokyo. It must’ve been surreal: no spectators, no personal supporters, wearing masks and following other ridiculous Covid restrictions. I wish her well.
Excellent words to help your child prepare for school. I believe that wearing school uniforms is a great equalizer and would make things better for everyone. Somehow private schools do that but not most public schools.

President Trump has basically told the American people that the wife of a president IS above the law. IMHO, he was inserting the fact that he could easily have sent Hillary to jail but didn’t in order to influence, possibly warn, the crooked judge that he’ll be facing on September 18th. It was good to hear him call Hillary evil, for all to hear.
Power here has been out since noon. We have a stay at home police warning for at least the next six hours. Absolutely no traffic on our usually normally busy street. Will be off line mostly
