Not a situation of a loony lefty. This is a paid assassin probably $100 million. But maybe 10 million. In either case it was a fail. Catching the trigger man is important to keep him alive to tell his story. But those that paid him are going to be well insulated. We know the usual suspects

I’ve been afraid of this at every rally, every time he goes out. You know they are hiring people to get rid of him.
I hope he skips the rallies from now on. What would we do without him? The evil would just take over.

I didn’t see anything like his head being blown off.
Another person at the rally was killed.
My speculation: This is a farm-like setting and there were several buildings outside the venue - IOW, he didn’t have to go through security, but climbed onto the roof of one of those buildings, took his shots, and got taken down.

I figured it had to be. He’d never get in with a rifle.
Bad choice of venue....should have had a SS agent on every roof. Security failure for sure.
