A gas station robbery set off a car chase down Los Angeles city streets that led to a crash and the death of one of the robbery suspects, police said.
The incident unfolded Saturday evening on West Adams Boulevard, where police said a 21-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint while parked at a gas station.
The man pursued the robbers as they drove away, and allegedly collided his black SUV into the back of their white sedan, police said.

No word yet if this guy was arrested for causing the crash. But given that this happened in Los Angeles,I suppose he will be.
Yes, he probably will be.
That was a classic scene.
One of the robbers was killed. This is Gascon land. He may be looking at a long time in prison for manslaughter.
I would ticket him for littering, although he really kinda took out the garbage.
I wasn’t thinking about that particular clip (good one, though). But I was wondering if the victim here could claim he was trying to effect a citizen’s arrest.
LOL, forgot all about that scene.
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, West Adams was a swanky, upscale neighborhood, the home of celebrities including the Hollywood producer Busby Berkeley, whose home still stands.
