I think the only state that had a deadline before the dem convention was Ohio - and they “fixed” it in the Ohio legislature for this year, if I recall correctly.

Neither convention has been held. Both Trump and Biden are the presumptive nominees, not the nominees. But if there is a state law to the contrary, expect the law to be changed either by the legislature or some judge.
